booking Cancellation Policies

Modification

  • All modification requests are subject to review and approval by Malagos Garden Resort Management. Special considerations may be made only in cases of Force Majeure directly affecting the guest.

  • Change of booking date within 24 hours prior to the check-in date will be incur a charge equivalent to the total amount of the reservation.

Cancellation

  • Early Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 31 days prior to the check-in date is free of charge and will not incur any cancellation fees. However, all bank and incidental charges for processing refund shall be shouldered by the client.

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made 30-15 days prior to the check-in date will incur a charge equivalent to the total amount of one night accommodation for all rooms booked.

  • Short-Notice Cancellation: Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in date incur a charge equivalent to the total amount of the reservation. In cases of one night only booking, the total charge is equivalent to the amount of one night accommodation for the number of rooms booked.

No-Show

  • Failure to arrive on the check-in date will be charged the total amount of the reservations. 

 

Check-in / check-out

Check-in time is at 2:00PM. Check-out time is at 12:00NN. Request for an early check-in and/or late check-out is subject to room availability, and may incur additional charges.

food and drinks

Bringing in of food and drinks is strictly prohibited, except for bottled water. The resort has cafes and restaurants operating from 6:00AM to 9:00PM.

visitor admissions

Non in-house guests visiting the resort’s in-house guests are allowed until 8:00PM only. Visitors are required to register at the Front Office and pay the resort entrance fee. Number of visitors may be regulated by the resort management. Holding parties inside the rooms is strictly prohibited. Visitors staying beyond 8:00PM are considered “extra person” and shall be charged Php900.00 per person per night.

Extra Person

Extra person charge is inclusive of set breakfast and extra bed (either a pull-out mattress or a separate mattress, depending on room configuration), and is subject to maximum occupancy per room category.

bathroom amenities

Request for additional bathroom amenities and other items (other than the standard set-up) may incur additional charges.

room service

Room service is available from 7am to 10PM only. Menu is available upon check-in.

other park activities

Chargeable park activities including but not limited to Chocolate Making, Calesa Ride, Horseback Riding, Bike Rental are not included in the room rate.

flora and fauna

Bringing of pets in the resort is strictly prohibited. Picking of flowers, or any resort produce not included in the “Vegetable Harvest” activity is strictly prohibited.

resort cleanliness

Hanging of clothes at the room’s balcony, veranda or any highly public area is not allowed.

smoking

In compliance with the city ordinance of Davao City, smoking within the resort’s premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply may be apprehended by the nearest Smoke-Free Task Force of the city, and will be subject to Government-mandated sanctions and a maximum of Php10,000.00 hotel cleaning fee.
